Gen X Mix is a diverse blend of Alternative, New Wave, and Popular hits from the 80s and 90s with minimal interruptions for the ultimate free retro music listening experience.

 

 

Safe for Work Programing

From 6:00 am to 1:00 am – Gen X Mix plays music that is Safe For Work. During this period, songs with explicit lyrics may be censored or contain altered/alternative lyrics – sometimes known as the radio edit.  Averaging only four minutes of ads per hour, Gen X Mix online radio has far fewer ads than terrestrial am/fm radio and is cheaper than satellite radio for a totally awesome & free listener experience!  

From 1:00 am to 6:00 am our “After Dark” program has more edgy-alternative, dance/club/DJ mixes, obscure album tracks, and other songs that may contain profanity or adult/objectionable subject matter and may not be safe for work depending on your place of employment.

Join us Monday through Friday from noon to one and pump up your afternoon with the Lunch Hour recharge.

Gen X Mix is based in metro Detroit, Michigan so all times are Eastern.
