Keegan-Michael Key was born in Southfield, Michigan today in 1971. Key has over 100 acting credits, in productions like: Mad TV, Role Models, Reno 911,  Garry Unmarried, Parks and Recreation, and of course his own sketch comedy show that aired from 2012-2015, Key and Peel.  More recently Key appeared in the movie Wonka which is streaming this month on Max.

Reese Witherspoon was born in New Orleans today in 1976. Witherspoon is one of Gen X’s most recognizable actresses. She’s had roles in movies like Cruel Intentions, Election, American Psycho, Sweet Home Alabama, Little Nicky, Walk the Line, and of course her iconic role as Elle Woods in the Legally Blond movies.

Guitarist, singer, and songwriter George Benson is turning 81. For us Gen Xers, he’s most know for his hits On Broadway and Give Me The Night.

Matthew Modine was born in Loma Linda, California 65 years ago. He’s been in over 100 movies since the 1980s including Full Metal Jacket, Cutthroat Island, Any Given Sunday, the recent blockbuster Oppenheimer, and the Netflix series Stranger Things.

Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber is turning 76. Webber is the composer behind some of Broadway’s biggest shows such as Cats, Evita, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, and The Phantom of the Opera.

In 2002, the movie Blade 2 starring Wesley Snipes as a Day-walking vampire opened in US theaters and Ain’t It Funny by Jennifer Lopez & Ja Rule was number one on Billboard’s Hot 100.
